Bishop Nominations

The task of electing a new bishop is a weighty one, and we need your help in nominating faithful priests for this important calling. Before you nominate, we ask you to do the following:

  1. Read, meditate, and pray over the Biblical passages that set out the qualifications for a bishop.

  2. Read over the Bishop Profile created by the Nominating Committee and be prepared to explain why the person you are nominating is a fit in the Nomination Form linked below.

  3. Read over and reflect on the Ordinal from the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, remembering that all Bishops are still deacons and priests.

  4. Inform the person you are nominating, and seek their consent.

  5. Finally, pray for all the Nominees and for the Committee.
