Who We Are

The Anglican Diocese of the Mid-South is a newly forming diocese in the Anglican Church in North America, bringing together churches across Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.

Our mission is to extend the Kingdom of God by proclaiming Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, so that people everywhere may come to trust Him as Savior, follow Him as Lord, and be formed within the fellowship of His Church.

We exist to equip clergy, congregations, and church plants to proclaim the Gospel faithfully, live in joyful obedience to Jesus Christ, and participate in God’s mission in their communities.

Our churches are called to be outposts of the Kingdom of God: places where Christ is worshiped and proclaimed, where people are nourished through Word and Sacrament, and where the Holy Spirit forms and sends God’s people to serve both the Church and the world.

As part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, we stand in fellowship with millions of Anglican Christians across the globe, united by a shared faith rooted in Scripture, shaped by the historic Church, and centered on the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
